
If there’s one thing I don’t like about summer, it’s gnats.
Besides being very annoying, they can transmit serious diseases such as dengue or yellow fever… How annoying are mosquitoes, right?
I was doing some research and found some very interesting facts about them. Let me tell you: several studies have identified what it is that makes them not leave us alone.
Mosquitoes like movement, sweat (salt and humidity are very attractive to them) and the CO2 we emit when we breathe. On the other hand, they seek warmth all the time, so if your body temperature rises, you will be irresistible to them.
Also, research conducted in Japan showed that mosquitoes prefer dark colors. Black and red attract their attention the most. And sweet and floral scents are their favorite, so keep this in mind before choosing your summer perfume.
